Carpet installation:

Laying a carpet is not that complicated. We order a carpet so that its dimensions are at least 5 cm larger on each side of the room. After receiving the carpet, we unpack the carpet, check the quality, color and pattern and untangle the carpet in the room. Here we let it optimally acclimatize and stretch without trimming and gluing, ideally for 24 hours, min. but at least 1 hour. The room should be heated to at least 18°C. As soon as the carpet is flat, we place the edge of the carpet against the longest wall and thus save one cutting. We secure the carpet against shifting and cut the other sides with a carpet knife according to the walls of the rooms. At the door, we remove the threshold or transition strip and place the carpet under the threshold. Then we glue the carpet either over the entire surface by unfolding one half of the carpet, applying the glue and repeating the procedure for the other half of the carpet. For smaller areas up to approx. 20 m2, we can only fix the carpet on double-sided adhesive tape.
